Also in The Moorings is Jimmy P’s Butcher Shop & Deli, a family-friendly eatery offering steaks, burgers, and more in a relaxed setting. Coquina Sands also has many delicious eateries, one of which being First Watch, a breakfast cafe with healthy choices for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Einstein Bros. Bagels is another restaurant offering soups, salads, and namesake bagels in a counter-serve shop. Coquina Sands also has a great Italian restaurant, Caffe dell’Amore, a trattoria-style restaurant with market-style Italian fare.
There are also several shops in the areas around The Moorings and Coquina Sands. Near The Moorings, you can find larger retailers like Marshall’s and Publix alongside more specialized stores. PGA TOUR Superstore is a great sporting goods store that is golf-focused and sells everything from clubs and drivers to apparel and shoes. The Moorings and Coquina Sands have several excellent activities, whether you want to go out to the beach, enjoy a local park, or take in a local event. The following places and events are some of the best the area has to offer.
One of the best places to go in Coquina Sands is Lowdermilk Park. This park includes a public beach and park that has ample space for outdoor activity and a concession stand for refreshments. Lowdermilk Park also has the Playa Naples playground for children, volleyball courts, and a charming gazebo. The Moorings also has several great places to go, such as the Moorings Beach Private Park and Via Miramar Beach. Both are gorgeous white sand beaches with plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming, and more oceanside activities.
